THE FAMOUS JUG BAND - SUNSHINE POSSIBILITIES A rare mono orig Australian sample release of this sort after folk psych album on the black liberty liberty label (LYL-33,559). The cover has the original flip back sleeves with an ultra glossy laminated front cover, it states on the back cover that front sleeve was made like this for 'Display Purposes' and is 'Not for resale'. I am reliably informed that this was not an uncommon practice in Australian record shops in the 60's. The band includes Clive Palmer who was involved in many of the 60's best and most sort after and valuable acid folk psych bands and albums including early Incredible string band albums and the peerless COB albums
The Vinyl is in perfect Mint condition hardly looks played. The cover is very clean the laminate looks brand new apart from a small amount of ringwear. Finally item of interest is that the back cover on the Australian edition is completely different to the UK edition, all in all being mono this is a rare and unusual copy of a sort after and delightfully bent 60's folk album.
