THE FAMOUS JUG BAND - CHAMELEON - 1970.
Liberty - LBS 83355 A/3 & B2
We have finally decided to clear out our old albums as we have no way of listening to them anymore they have been stored unopened or used for about 30 years....!
We have very differing tastes in music so there is a huge range from Neil Diamond, Rick Wakeman, The Who, Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood, Stones, Paul Simon..... all sorts really. Over the next few weeks I'll be re-listing those that have not yet found new loving homes! This is the last record in the box! Thank you to all my buyers for trusting my very basic knowledge of record condition & buying from me.
I know nothing about the 'correct way' of describing their condition and can only tell it as I see it. Please bear in mind that these records were not bought as collectors items but to be used and enjoyed, some more so than others! Neither of us can remember any of them being jumpy or scratched, but 30 years is a long time and as I said I've no way of checking how they play now, I am assessing them by eye only.
The textured sleeve is worn on the corners & along the bottom where it's stood/rubbed on the shelf. The spine is whole but a bit creased in places. There is a white area top right front of sleeve - possibly where a price label once was? The inner sleeve is looking its age but is whole. The record looks ok to me a bit grubby & as with all my records a really good clean would make all the difference. I cannot see any scratches. Considering this record is 40 years old I think it's in great condition!
