The third time really was the charm for Fanny, the pioneering all-female rock band who were the first act of their kind to win a major-label record deal in 1970. While Fanny's second album, 1971's Charity Ball, was a solid and imaginative set whose title track became a minor hit single, their third album, 1972's Fanny Hill, truly caught them at the peak of their strength. Produced by Richard Perry at London's Abbey Road Studio, with Geoff Emerick as engineer (who worked on several of the Beatles' best recordings), Fanny Hill is the group's hardest-rocking set, full of June Millington's big, raunchy guitar figures facing off with Nickey Barclay's rollicking keyboards, the smart but muscular rhythm section of Alice de Buhr on drums and Jean Millington on bass, and the foursome's stellar harmonies. Fanny were more than capable of effectively turning down the tempo for quieter numbers like "You've Got a Home" and "Wonderful Feeling," but it's rockers like "Blind Alley" and their covers of Marvin Gaye's "Ain't That Peculiar" (with Rolling Stones associate Bobby Keys on sax) and the Beatles' "Hey Bulldog" where Fanny demonstrate they were one of the best and most underappreciated American rock bands of the '70s. Fanny Hill still stands out as this group's strongest and most exciting work.

Please remember that international packages will take longer to arrive then domestic orders as the package is traveling a further distance. Once the parcel is in your country, it will also pass through your customs office which can add time to the delivery. Customs can hold a parcel for several weeks and open up packages for inspections. Usually international packages arrive somewhere within 4 weeks but can take longer depending on the Post Office and customs clearance and there is nothing sellers can do to speed up the process. Please allow sufficient time for your package to arrive.
Please do not assume that if your international package has not arrived within 10 days that it is "lost' . You need to allow time for your package to arrive. Thousands of packages travel with the post office daily. The seller cannot control the speed of delivery with the carrier and from our experience, lost packages are very rare. Please be patient as they take time to arrive

Records are packed very carefully in mailers with filler pads AND LP'S OUTSIDE OF JACKETS. Items are usually shipped within 3-4 days of receipt of payment. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases.

It has been my experience that Priority Mail packages always arrive safely and quickly. Media Mail is very slow, and suggest that if you have paid a significant amount for your record, it is worth the extra money to ensure safe and speedy delivery.
