FAR 4 - SONATES DE MOZART, ALFRED LOEWENGUTH - FRANCOISE DOREAU,,
Stereo -
Alfred Loewenguth on the violin and Francoise Doreau on the piano play Mozart Sonates No 454, Sonates No 304 and Sonata No 306.
This is on the very rare Prestige des Interpretes Francais Lable which was owned by artistic director and producer Pierre Faraggi
Cat No FAR 4.
The laminated sleeve is in good condition, crease to top edge left corner and bottom edge right corner but cardboard is strong and flat. There are no splits at the seams and the spine is very good. No discernable rubbing to the edges.
The record : We are aware that one of these sold late last year on ebay for over £1,000 but it was in EX condition. This copy is in good condition.
Because I know it is rare I will be extra critical of its condition. Normally I would just say that it was in good condition with minor surface marks and small surface noise. So -
A visual check shows minor surface marks on side one and a deeper mark on track three of side two.
Playing the record. There are minor low level crackles. In my opinion these are not loud enough or frequent enough to detract from the beauty of the music.
Side two, track three which shows a visible mark - I can only hear one click caused by this mark. It does not jump.
This is a true assessment on the equipment that I have.
