FLEETWOOD MAC – “THE PIOUS BIRD OF GOOD OMEN”…(CBS, SBP-233744)…their third CBS LP release…original 1969 Australian pressing…consists of the first four UK singles and their B-sides (yep, it includes "ALBATROSS", and "BLACK MAGIC WOMAN"), plus two tracks from the second album ("COMING HOME" and "STOP MESSIN' ROUND"), and two tracks by Blues artist Eddie Boyd with backing by members of Fleetwood Mac (those two tracks came from Boyd's album "7936 South Rhodes")...line-up: PETER GREEN, JEREMY SPENCER, DANNY KIRWAN, MICK FLEETWOOD, JOHN McVIE...
First pressing, with glossy laminated front cover; matte back cover…
CONDITION - COVER: ( EX )...front cover is MINT; back cover is very near mint...just has the lightest beginnings of ringwear...see pix (it's barely discernible)....
CONDITION - RECORD: ( M- )...shiny and clean and so close to mint (not bad for 48 years old)...
CONDITION - LABELS: (Side One: M- / Side Two: MINT )......
PACKAGING AND MAILING: Absolutely ALL care will be taken when packaging this - record and sleeve will be separated to avoid any damage in transit, and both will be packed in a sealed outer light plastic sleeve between layers of strong very flat and thick card - I've been doing this for a while and have attained a good safe packing standard.
