Ultra Rare Original 1970 UK 1st Press WITH THE PINK "i" label 1st press a2/b2 matrices and earliest 1 1 stampers!
This MASSIVELY RARE lp is ACKNOWLEDGED by nme in THE TOP 20 FOLK ROCK LPS OF ALL TIMES initially sold VERY FEW COPIES and therefore had a very small run, and NOWADAYS is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND.

THIS IS A GENUINE 1ST UK PRESSING WITH RARE A2/B2 MATRICES, LOW 1 1 STAMPER NUMBERS AND THE 1ST PRESS PINK WITH WHITE "i" ISLAND LABELS CHARACTERISTICCS OF THE GENUINE 1ST UK PRESSINGS.
Fotheringay was a short-lived British folk rock group, formed in 1970 by singer-songwriter and musician Sandy Denny on her departure from Fairport Convention. The original Fotheringay released only this self-titled album as the band disbanded at the start of 1971 as Sandy Denny embarked on a solo career.
A fine example, superb collectable and very in-demand, 1st Pink "i" pressing A2/B2 and earliest 1 1 stampers indicate that this one is going to create a lot of interest. A rare opportunity to add this to your collection!
The vinyl is visually graded in very good condition. Please see below a description of grades and note that this LP is almost 50 years old, has been played and will not transform in anything different to the condition stated.
THE 1st Press PINK ISLAND with white "i" labels are in excellent minus condition.
The gatefold E.J. DAY 1st press sleeve is in very good plus condition with ring wear in the back.
The spine has feathered and is partly legible.

Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.
Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve
Excellent
Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.
Disc- The record has been played and has superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.
Very good
Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.
Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.
Good
Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.
Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler
