1955 FIRST PRESSING FRANK SINATRA LP:

"IN THE WEE SMALL HOURS"

Capitol Records # W 581

Beautiful original U.S. 1st Pressing Mono LP. This is on the Grey Capitol label with silver text and the words “Long Playing” at the bottom. The record is in exceptionally nice condition, and even a close inspection under a lamp shows only some light superficial surface marking and a small amount of super light surface scuffing. There is nothing even close to being able to be felt on the grooves and this clean record looks like it has only had a few easy plays over the years. The cover still has vivid color along with a bit of light wear. The seams have light wear but there is no cover splitting. On the back cover in the upper right corner is a small price tag, which looks like it might have been put there when the record was sold new, which reads “4.98” and a very small “1955” written near the tag. This tag may peel off, but I left it here because I thought it added to the item’s nostalgia. The cover has a small ding in the bottom right corner. This also still has its original Capitol Records “…a word about High Fidelity” inner sleeve.

All LPs come packaged carefully in a sturdy corrugated box made specifically for mailing LPs plus a cardboard insert. The covers are placed in clear plastic record sleeves. The vinyl is removed from the cover (except for SEALED items) for shipping to prevent seam splitting during shipment.
