rare German first press vinyl 2LP box set released in the 1950s on red/gold ELECTROLA / HIS MASTER'S VOICE label with catalognumber WALP 1286/87. Yes, this copy has the square [33] on the lower label rim - collectors and audiophiles will know that later pressings have a triangle 33 on the label. Matrixnumbers are 2XRA 16-3, 2XRA 17-2, 2XRA 18-4 and 2XRA 19-6 ... Don't miss this fantastic early copy... The clothbound box with gold lettering, complete with booklet and stitched innersleeves and vinyl in pristine NEARMINT / MINT condition with clean labels and no spindlemarks - perfect! Best I have seen in many years ... Famous performance by Furtwängler conducting the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality.
