FAIRPORT CONVENTION - 'FULL HOUSE'


Their 5th album and the first not to feature a female vocalist (Sandy Denny had left to join Fotheringay), it was nonetheless an extremely successful project and peaked at number 13 in the UK charts in the summer of 1970


This fine example is a UK 2nd pressing on the pink 'i' Island label: ILPS 9130

Vinyl weight: 148g


The disc is housed within a textured 'E.J. Group' printed gatefold cover without reference to 'Poor Will' & 'The Jolly Hangman.

Complete with an original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A vibrant, unfaded and unworn pair with just a small handful of light spindle trails around each centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with nothing more than a some harmless wispy hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal & a sparkling rainbow shine directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: NEAR MINT

This flawless sounding copy has received just a few careful plays on high-end equipment and my single careful play-check at volume could find no trace of any groove/play wear to any track or indeed any other form of audible faults or wear.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A strong and unworn example which displays some light storagewear to the corners, but has no further significant or any major faults throughout. There is a touch of shelfwear to the seams but none are unstressed and the spine is fully worded and unsplit.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Some minor age-toning & light storage wrinkles, but no writing, seam splits or tears.
