Title - 7 track 10" Acetate
Format - UK 10" double sided Acetate with handwritten track listing
Label - Oak/R G Jones
Condition - Visual is Excellent with just a couple of light marks. Plays with some surface noise no sticks, jumps, clicks or pops. You can listen to samples by clciking the links below.
Description - This acetate contains around 24 minutes of the finest UK freakbeat/mod/soul from the mid 1960s. One side has 4 tracks recorded in the studio and the other has 3 live tracks. Tracks on the studio side are Weve Got It Made, New Orleans, Stones In My Banana and Morning Dew. The live side has The End performing two soul classics SeeSaw and Papas Got A Brand New Bag and finishes with the Ska track Humpty Dumpty. The sound quality and atmosphere of the live tracks is excellent. Have a listen to the sound clips below, they have been taken direct from the acetate without any noise suppression or filtering. As far as I know the freakbeat track Stones In My Banana and the live tracks have never been released in any format. Weve Got It Made, New Orleans and Morning Dew were released on singles in Spain but I dont know if these are the same versions.
