Description
This is the rare original deep-groove U.S. pressing of Freddie Redd “The Connection” on Felsted FL 7512. (Because Redd was under contract to Blue Note, the LP was issued under Howard McGhee’s name. Freddie is shown as “I. Ching” in the personnel). The flat-rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The “frame” cover is clean and bright throughout, with very slight rubbing on the back. There is a drill hole though the cover and record labels. Personnel include Tina Brooks, Howard McGhee, Milt Hinton, and Osie Johnson. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly.
