Description

Freewheelin' Bob Dylan Vinyl Mono LP Plays Withdrawn Tracks XLP-58717-1A.
In the Standard Jacket with the revised track listing but has the the original pressing of the LP with four deleted tracks which was supposed to be destroyed. The extra tracks are on Side one "Rocks and Gravel" and "Let Me Die In My Footsteps" replace the songs "Girl From the North Country" and "Masters of War".  Side two has "Gamblin’ Willie’s Dead Man’s Hand" and "Talkin' John Birch Society Blues" instead of "Bob Dylan's Dream" and "Talking World War III Blues". To be clear the labels and sleeve list the revised track listing that we are all familiar with while the record itself plays the removed original songs. Less than twenty of these have surfaced over the last 60 years. This is an extremely rare find for any Dylan collector .
The record has multiple scratches.  Most are light. Vinyl has been Ultrasonically cleaned and run through a VPI machine.  Side one plays with moderate to heavy surface noise but is not really that distracting while the music is playing. No skips or pops on my Set up on this side.  Side 2 plays with the same moderate to heavy surface noise but  " John Birch Society" pops then skips towards the end of the song.  Also pops on the next song, " Honey give me one more chance."  The sleeve has rubbing and etching to the ink on paper on front, which can be seen in the picture.  Corners are bumped and paper is rubbed off the points. The back has previous owners name written in ink at the top edge. The Silver spots you see in the picture, I really don't what that is.  The bottom edge looks like it was cracking, so the previous owner put some tape over it.  Honestly you could swap out any first run mono sleeve without issue if you're looking for a better cover.  Please pay within 7 days after auction ends or by February 2nd.
