Description
Purchased from fiddlershop.com in 2015 for $1689 without a case. Comes with usable lightweight case.

This was used very lightly until last year when I loaned it to my friend’s son who was a senior in high school and first chair violin in the local youth orchestra. He was still on his beginner violin and couldn’t afford to step up and really needed a better instrument. It was his daily player for the entire year and as such shows some wear in the finish (see pictures) However, the sound has really opened up due to his hours of playing. Cosmetically it was returned in a state under which it was loaned out. Sonically speaking it returned sounding better.
It was set up by a shop in Spokane, WA prior to loaning it out. I know the strings have been changed multiple times throughout the year.

As is, no bow. I don’t play violin, but I am a musician. This is a quality instrument in the intermediate range.
