This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK 1ST PRESSING FAN CLUB PROMO ONLY COPY E.P. -  ROCKABILLY / ROCK ’N’ ROLL - E.P. single by GENE VINCENT from 1967, ORIGINAL UK FAN CLUB PROMO ONLY 1ST PRESSING E.P. IN NEAR MINT CONDITION VINYL !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - ROCK ’N’ ROLL / ROCKABILLY - UK 1ST PRESSING FAN CLUB PROMO ONLY EP single that RARELY comes up for sale !!! This was a FAN CLUB ONLY issue, rumoured to have been pressed 99 copies only (although I have only seen a handful selling). It includes 4 privately recorded live tracks by GENE VINCENT that were not available anywhere else !!! It has WHITE / TEST PRESSING labels with EMIDISC labels stuck on top (normally used for ACETATES). The sleeve is also UNIQUE, and this is the RAREST - GENE VINCENT E.P., and if that is not enough this copy comes in as NEAR MINT as possible !!! GENE VINCENT is backed by THE PUPPETS, THE ROCK ’N’ ROLL GANG and THE SHOUTS on different tracks !!! People normally list this as ACETATE, but it is NOT, it is VINYL PRESSING with ACETATE LABELS stuck on the white labels !!! There are stamped matrices: SIDE 1: EDEN EP 6 A and SIDE 2: EDEN EP 6 B.   I HAVE MANY OTHER - GENE VINCENT - DEMOS, PROMOS, SINGLES and E.P.’s LISTED THIS WEEK, PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT !!!
The E.P. is called : “LIVE & ROCKIN’ ”. The tracks are: THE LAST WORD IN LONESOME / PRETTY GIRLS / SAY MAMA / BABY BLUE.
The single came out EMIDISC RECORDS with no catalogue number.
The condition of the vinyl is in EX+++ / NEAR MINT condition (LOOKS UNPLAYED !!!, original 1960’s UK tax sticker on side A. label) + ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE is in EX++ / EX+++ condition (LIKE NEW !!!) !!!
