Early 1st Pressing Stampers
- 1st pressing unlaminated non-gatefold cover is made by E J Day (stated on the rear cover) which also states "Marketed by B & C Records, 37 Soho Square, London W1" just above the E J Day credit. Only genuine 1st pressing covers have these credits. Later covers were pressed by James Upton Ltd.
- Double sided lyric insert.
- 'Pecko' & 'Porky' Ray in the run-off grooves. Later pressings had just 'Pecko' on one side or omitted both names.
- The labels have the large Mad Hatter logo with the hand adjacent to the spindle hole. Later pressings on the smaller Mad Hatter label had the hand much higher.
- The labels state "Manufactured and Distributed by B & C Records Ltd" at the base of the label. Later pressings omitted the B&C credits.
- Heavy duty thick 1st pressing vinyl.
This pressing has all of the above 1st pressing features.
Cover: Excellent. E J Day unlaminated 1st pressing non-gatefold cover. No writings, doodles or seam splits. Original paper (non poly-lined inner sleeve) is Near Mint.
Vinyl: Excellent+. Barely played - stunning for a 37 year old vinyl. Lovely sheen and only the faintest whisps fof paper lines from the inner sleeve under a strong light. I only played this 3 or 4 times.
Labels: Near Mint.
Insert: Excellent+.
