During more than seven years of trading on ebay, I have received over 2,300 positive feedbacks from more than 1,800 individual customers, almost all from the sale of vinyl records. Until recently I had 100% positive feedback, but I have recently received a totally unjustified negative feedback. Please see my page if you want the full story.
I take great pride in ensuring that my items are always described accurately and fairly. All my items come with a full money-back guarantee - if it's not as described, you can return it for a full refund.
Bidders outside the UK please note: I send all items tracked and insured. Depending on the value of your order, the cost is an extra £5.15 or £7.75 on top of the standard airmail rate. I do not make a profit on this service - I only charge what Royal Mail charges me. For further information please click on the icon and see below for full P&P and insurance details.

This is a very unusual first pressing of The Lamb lies down on Broadway. Please read the following information and I will try to explain why.
Released in November 1974, The Lamb lies down on Broadway was the first Genesis album to be released after Charisma changed to the smaller Mad Hatter design on its labels.
At this time, B&C was in financial difficulties and the relationship with Charisma was changing as they looked to move their marketing and distribution to another partner.
For this reason, original copies of The Lamb lies down . . . can be found with two different B&C label credits: either ‘Manufactured and distributed by B&C’ or ‘Marketed by B&C’. (From May 1975 the B&C credit was replaced with a Phonogram credit.)
It has been claimed that the 'manufactured and distributed' text is the key differentiator between true first pressings and subsequent issues, yet I have seen both types of label with later 3U matrixes. Equally, I have seen both types of label on copies which have the first 2U matrixes.
However, never before have I come across a copy where one label says ‘Manufactured and distributed by B&C’ and the other says ‘Marketed by B&C’.
All four have the first press matrix numbers and each disk has a first and second mother, and stampers in an equivalent range.
The early covers too have a B&C credit (which was later removed and replaced with a Phonogram credit). B&C covers can be found printed by either Bruin in Holland or Robor in England. It is usually claimed that the Robor covers came later, but I have seen Phonogram covers printed by Bruin, so, again, it is hard to be sure.
So, this is a confirmed first pressing (all matrixes end 2U) and it is an early one with 1st and 2nd mothers on each disk and stampers in the range 15-94. One label says ‘Manufactured and distributed by B&C’ and the other says ‘Marketed by B&C’. It comes in a cover with a B&C credit and printed by Robor Ltd England.
But best of all, the whole thing is in superb condition.
This has the following 1st press matrix numbers, mothers and stampers:
Side 1: CG 1 A-2U 1 AP
Side 2: CG 1 B-2U 2 OG
Side 3: CG 2 A-2U 2 TM
Disk one: 1st mother, 36th stamper and 2nd mother, 51st stamper.
Disk two: 2nd mother, 94th stamper and 1st mother, 15th stamper.
Detailed description
Vinyl: The vinyl looks great and has retained its original high sheen. It has clearly been well cared for. Under bright light, sleeve removal trails (from the card inner sleeves), hairlines and fine marks were visible, as well as a few, more-prominent looking hairlines, here and there, mainly on side two, but nothing significant. I have listened to the whole of side two. There was a bit of crackle and a few soft tics in 'The Carpet Crawlers' but nothing bad.
Labels: All four labels look superb with no signs of damage, writing, stickers etc and just light spindle marking. In particular, the spindle trails on disk two suggest that sides 3 and 4 were only played a handful of times.
Sleeve: The sleeve is nice and clean with no damage, writing, splits, tears or stickers etc and just light signs of use. There is some minor ring-wear/shaping around the disks, some small knocks and fine creases around the edges and corners and a few minor marks.
Edge wear: There is light wear to the edges and spine, mainly at the corners. The spine is solid and firm with a small amount of wear at the middle, but the text is still mostly legible. There are typical signs of use with some small 'knocks and nicks' at the openings.
Corner wear: moderate
Inner sleeves: No splits, tears or damage, just some shaping around the disks and a few minor marks.
Detracting features not covered above: None.
Please check out my other items and take advantage of reduced postage costs for multiple buys.

Information about descriptions.
My items are always described accurately and fairly. I always do my best to point out any blemishes which might detract from the item and all photographs are of the actual item you will get.
Play-graded vinyl: I play grade records where possible but I don't have time to play them all. I always state in the listing if I have played a record prior to describing it.
Visually-graded vinyl: Unless specifically stated in the listing, vinyl is visually graded. A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly. I always do my best to give a fair assessment of any visible marks on the playing surface, but a visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and fifty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect. Please see Terms and Conditions below for my refunds policy for visually graded records.
******************************************
I have some very simple terms and conditions. Please read them and ensure that you understand them before bidding. Thank you.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- My items are fully guaranteed - if it is not as described you can return it for a full refund, including postage. Refunds for visually graded records which are returned based upon the buyer's assessment of the record's playgrade, will not include postage costs in either direction.
- Your bid is binding, so please make sure you have READ and UNDERSTOOD the WHOLE LISTING before you bid. I will not accept returns where the buyer has not read or not understood something which is stated/shown in the listing.
- I accept Paypal and postal orders (in UK Sterling GBP) for all purchases. I also accept cheques (in UK Sterling GBP) on orders OVER £50.
- Please pay for your item within three days of the auction closing. If you are intending to bid on other items and wish to pay when they have closed, please contact me to let me know. I reserve the right to cancel any transactions and offer the item to the second highest bidder if no contact or payment is made within three days.

POSTAGE & PACKING
I care about the records I sell and believe that they need to be carefully and securely packaged to ensure that they survive their journey through the post. Vinyl is removed from the sleeve for posting and the contents will be protected with rigid cardboard stiffeners. All packages are labelled "Do not bend" and securely sealed with "FRAGILE" parcel tape.
I support the use of recycled materials and so I may send some items in packaging which has been previously used or which has been made from other cardboard packaging. If you wish your item to be sent in entirely new packaging please let me know before paying for it. Thanks.

P&P charges
I need to cover the cost of postage and packing materials, but I try not to charge more for packing and posting your item than it actually costs me. I do not view P&P costs as a means of making money.
However, to quote an exact cost for every LP is difficult because of the wide variance in weight (e.g. Abbey Road weighs around 230 grams whereas Led Zeppelin III weighs around 390 grams). But the majority of single LPs, when packed, will weigh around 500-550 grams and I have based my P&P rates on this.
Occasionally, you may end up paying a few pence more than it actually costs me and occasionally you may end up paying a few pence less than it actually costs me. If there is a significant discrepancy in your favour I will refund the difference.
Double LPs will be charged as two LPs, triple LPs will be charged as three LPs. Box sets etc will be charged according to weight.
