On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Gentle Giant called 'Acquiring The Taste' and is a 1971 ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Spiral' Vertigo label!!!! THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST GENTLE GIANT LPS AND RARELY EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE 1971 UK VERTIGO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'SPIRAL' VERTIGO LABEL, 1ST PRESS VERTIGO INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE AND INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1971 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 6360 041 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Vertigo Label (see picture) and is a UK 1971 Stereo 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 light hairline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and only the VERY occassional touch of MEGA low level background crackle in a VERY few places!!!! However although one side of this record has virtually NO surface sound AT ALL - the other side does have some audible background sound on the run on grooves, gaps, and quieter parts of the music. The record must grade visually Very Good++++ if not better - though the playing grade is less than this for the reason mentioned above.  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Vertigo inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has barely ANY edge wear, barely ANY spinal wear, an absolutely TINY area of 'touched in' wear just below the top edge (this is VERY unnoticeable indeed), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), some light rubbing/ringwear to the cover front (MUCH less to the cover back), and NO writing (apart from the TINY 'triangle' on the back of the cover)!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, barely ANY rubbing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
