To mark the 30th anniversary of the album's release, Harrison supervised a remastered edition of All Things Must Pass, which was issued in January 2001, less than a year before his death from cancer at the age of 58 The reissue appeared on Gnome Records, a label specifically set up by him for the project. Harrison oversaw revisions to Wilkes and Feinstein's original album artwork, which included a COLORIZED "George & the Gnomes" front cover and, on the album booklet, further examples of this cover image showing an imaginary, gradual encroachment of urbanization on the Friar Park landscape.
The new version of the album contained five bonus tracks, including "I Live For You", two of the songs performed for Phil Spector at Abbey Road in May 1970 ("Beware of Darkness" and "Let It Down") and "My Sweet Lord (2000)", a partial re-recording of Harrison's biggest solo hit. In addition, Harrison re sequenced the content of Apple Jam so that the album closed with "Out of the Blue", as he had originally intended. Assisting Harrison with overdubs on the bonus tracks were his son, Dhani Harrison, singer Sam Brown and percussionist Ray Cooper
As you can see in the 3rd jpg, this 2001 re-release was issued on "gno records" George's own GNOME records, with re-designed record labels.
In jpg 4, you can see the internal packaging was also quite different, where the inner lining was now purple and the record sleeves were also altered.
And in jpg 5, the booklet replaced the giant poster but still retained some of the shots from the poster.
All the tracks on “All Things Must Pass” (2001) were remastered and/or remixed byGeorge. He says in the booklet that on some tracks he wanted to “….liberate some of the songs from the big production that seemed appropriate at the time, but now seem a bit over the top with the reverb in the wall of sound”. He may be referring to Phil Spector’s production work on the original. There were no hard feelings though as in the booklet George pays tribute to " the amazing Phil Spector, who produced so many fantastic records in the sixties. He helped me so much to get this record made….God bless you Phil."
