Description
Up for auction is a copy of The Cheerful Insanity of Giles Giles & Fripp, originally issued in 1968. This is a 1972 Japanese pressing (the first) on Deram, cat no DL 31. The album comes with original lyric insert, which also features a group history and some kind of diagrammatic “family tree” in Japanese.
Condition: vinyl is immaculate, looks barely played and sounds great. Cover has some seam wear & a 2” split on the bottom seam. Insert and labels in great condition. EX/VG+ (vinyl/cover).
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (30+ years) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale.
