GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : musiche e direzione orchestrale di Gino Marinuzzi jr. Tutti i brani hanno come tema le situazioni angoscianti e di paura. Vengono ben risolti con soluzioni efficaci dovute all'abilità dei musicisti. Segnalo : " Senza Respiro " in chiave discretamente jazz, ritmica incalzante, pulsazioni del basso e ottimo flauto, " Banditi a Chicago " tema anch'esso jazzistico dall'andamento lento e con basso ossessivo, " Battaglia di Ritmi " con interessanti spunti di vibrafono, chitarra e percussioni con improvvisi arresti e cambiamento di ritmo, " Tossicomania " un pò sperimentale per i suoni minimalistici.

Notes : music and orchestra Gino Marinuzzi jr. All tracks have as theme the distressing and frightening situations. They are well resolved with effective solutions due to the artistic skill of the musicians. I mention: " Senza Respiro " in fairly jazz tone, pressing rhythmic, throbbing bass and excellent flute, " Banditi a Chicago " jazz theme too from slow development and an obsessive bass, " Battaglia di Ritmi " from interesting performances of vibes, guitar and percussion with breaks, " Tossicomania " a little experimental for the minimalist sonorities.
