The Gordon Beck Quartet - Experiments With Pops.
Brilliant album with Beck reinterpreting standard hits of the day but remember this is possibly the best jazz pianist to come out of the u.k. so it’s no light hearted affair! Includes ’Up Up And Away’, ’Michelle’, ’Monday Monday’ and my personal fave here ‘Norwegian Wood’, a heavy version with some outstanding keys work.

Vinyl is clean with just minor paper scuffing visible under direct strong light. No marks. Some spindle wear so it’s obviously been played but with care as the vinyl is clean and sound quality is absolutely faultless. Jacket is very clean with no problems. (vg+/ex)
