An extraordinary LP from 1968 featuring jazz pianist Gordon Beck with the young soon-to-be-stars of the British jazz scene John McLaughlin, Jeff Clyne and Tony Oxley turning their musical talents on the pop hits of the day - songs by The Beatles and the Beachboys ....

This is a pretty rare LP, listed on specialist selling site at up to €170. It's the mono version of this very experimental recording, starring the hottest young British jazz musicians of the late 60s tackling selected tunes from the pop end of the market.
