GRANNIE


I am the daughter of the hammond player on this album and am selling the original copy that was given to my father on completion of the recording.  It is not to my taste and as I am currently trying to scrape together a house deposit I feel someone who would appreciate it should have it.  It has been well looked after though!

UPDATE: Due to the interest and the early offers on the item already and questions regarding the band and their origins I can now include a hand written account of the recording of this album and information about the band themselves from the hammond player.

THIS LP WAS PRODUCED IN 1971 BY AN OBSCURE ROCK BAND CALLED GRANNIE
THIS SELF-TITLED ALBUM WAS PRIVATELY PRESSED AND FEWER THAN 100 COPIES WERE MADE. THE AMAZING FEATURE OF THIS RECORD IS THE FACT THAT IS COULD VERY WELL HAVE GONE THROUGH OFFICIAL RELEASE AS ITS QUALITY DEFIES THE USUAL REASON AS TO WHY RECORDS WERE PRIVATELY PRESSED.. BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T VERY GOOD!


THIS COPY IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL AND EXTREMELY RARE HAND-MADE OUTER SLEEVE. IT HAS THE FRONT ARTWORK CUT-OUT AND GLUED TO THE FRONT
