Description
1st press 1977 vinyl album by Greyhound with “Black and White” on Trojan Records.
The vinyl is in excellent condition with only minor marks and hairlines from previous play. Both sides played without jumps or skips. Side B track 1 had some louder audible crackle for about 10 seconds of the intro but the music played through clearly without being overpowered. Overall sound quality was very good with the odd pop and crackly moment but there was nothing major or damaging to the nice sound quality this album has. The spindle hole is fairly tight on the spindle but this should settle after being used a little more. The labels are undamaged.
The outer sleeve is VG+ with no damage. There is just some minor creasing from use/age - please see our photos. It also still has the original 1971 99p sticker attached.
Comes with generic white inner.
I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.
The vinyl is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve, the whole album placed into a protective outer plastic sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
