On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Groundhogs called 'Blues Obituary' and is a UK ORIGINAL Stereo pressing on the Liberty label!!!! THIS IS AN IMPOSSIBLY RARE LP - AND IN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING CONDITION!!!!  THE COVER IS SIMPLY SUPERB AND THE RECORD ONLY LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN PLAYED TWICE!!!!  THIS LP WAS ORIGINALLY AVAILABLE ON THE BLUE LIBERTY LABEL IN LATE 1969.  HOWEVER THIS LP WAS PRESSED RIGHT AT THE VERY END OF THE BLUE LABELS - AND THEY ONLY  LASTED LITERALLY A MATTER OF WEEKS.  ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE (ONLY A MONTH OR TWO) THIS LP WAS CHANGED TO THE BLACK LIBERTY LABEL.  THIS IS THE VERY EARLIEST POSSIBLE BLACK LABEL PRESSING - AND IS LITERALLY ONLY WEEKS AFTER RELEASE!!!!  WHILST LATER BLACK LABEL PRESSINGS DO TURN UP OCCASSIONALLY - THIS IS THE VERY EARLIEST POSSIBLE BLACK LABEL PRESSING AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN HOW THIS IS CLEARLY THE VERY EARLIEST POSSIBLE BLACK LABEL PRESSING AND EXTREMELY RARE!!!!  FIRSTLY IT HAS A-1 B-1 MATRIX ENDINGS AND 1/G 1/G MOTHER AND THE STAMPER CODES (THE VERY EARLIEST POSSIBLE!!!!).  ALSO THE FULLY LAMINATED SLEEVE IS THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING SLEEVE WITH 'PLEATED' ENDS TO THE SPINE (LATER ONES DONT)!!!!  THIS LP IS SO HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is an ORIGINAL Liberty UK Stereo Pressing from 1969 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LBS 83253 on the ORIGINAL Black Liberty label (see picture) and is a UK 1969 Stereo pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Groundhogs at their best!!!! Any fan of The Groundhogs, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS LP HAS ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED TWICE - IF THAT!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILLS RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! The record plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!!  There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! STUNNING RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press FULLY LAMINATED Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), only a VERY few VERY small areas of laminate lifting along the spinal edge, NO laminate breakage, NO laminate loss, STUNNING shiny laminate, NO laminate glazing and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The only MEGA tiny defect is a TINY stain on the top edge!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent (Minus) if not better!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE 1969 1/G 1/G STEREO PRESSING OF THIS MEGA RARE LP AND SO RARE IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
