Description

Here we have an original copy of the self titled album by Gandalf on Capitol (ST 121). Cover looks conservatively EX, just some initials in the top right corner, about an square inch total. Amazingly - this one does not have the all too common FREE stamp on it! These rarely turn up and when they do - they are almost always cut outs - so this one is unique. Vinyl has some spindle marks on the label but looks EX and still has some sheen to it. For those unfamiliar - this is one of the best major label psych albums to come from the States, I can only say it's a haunting work of incredible beauty and can make your hair stand up on end at about 2:00 in the morning... Lots of echo, Hammond organ, excellent vocals and the best version of "Nature Boy" ever imagined. Needless to say - this is probably one of the rarest major label US psych offerings.
