Description

This is the original RVG-etched deep-groove pressing of Gene Ammons "Jammin' With Gene" on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige 7060. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a few light inaudible handling marks and superficial patterning on Side 1 that is typical of records stored long-term in their original inner sleeves; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated West 50th St. cover is clean, bright and unworn throughout, with perfect seams. Personnel includes Art Farmer, Donald Byrd, Jackie McLean, and Mal Waldron.
