George Lewis, Echoes Of New Orleans vol 2, Blue Note, LP 7013, 1951, VG+/NM
Vintage 1951 10" LP entitled "Echoes Of New Orleans vol 2" performed by American jazz clarinetist and bandleader George Lewis and his band "The New Orleans Stompers". Pressed and distributed on the Blue Note label.
Sleeve is graded as VG+/NM. It shows some minor discoloration on the back cover, with a small amount of handwriting in pencil at the top, upper right corner. Front cover is clean and glossy, sleeve is overall clean and intact.
Also included is an original pamphlet entitled "Climax presents New Orleans Jazz" that was included with the record. It is also in very good condition. It shows some tanning / discoloration from age, with a folding crease in the middle lower portion of the pamphlet. It will ship in a poly sleeve and acid-free backboard.
Record is playgraded as a strong VG+, bordering on VG+/NM. It has been cleaned and playtested. Record plays through well with minor background noise on side 1, with 4-5 light pops on the final track. Side 2 has very minor background noise that quickly diminishes into play. Record has an overall clear, quality sound despite flaws.
