The duchess is back! Bringing to you another fine batch of rare/sought after items from my collection.
Including this one, a super rare fab condition record: By Gordon Smith - Long Overdue, on Blue Horizon
No. S 7 -63211. Dated 1968. Really rare Blues Lp Guesting are Fleet Wood Mac memeber.
This is a SCORCHING Blues rarity. Definately not run of the mill and VERY sought after!!!!!!!
I have played this record on my Pioneer Deck Amp through Wharfedale speakers using a M95 ED Cartridge. I will attempt to make everything as clear as i can to the best of my ability. I have looked at the record under a 100 watt lightbulb to make certain I can see anything that may be on the surface of the record.
Condition of the record -
- The central labels either side are EX condition (lightest spoting/blemish) - please see photo. No writing, no tearing, no marks, just a couple of minor areas where the record has been moved over the spindle on side one (this can only be seen in the light)
- Under the light, I can see about 12 light surface scratches in total, on both sides. This is very light wear. I therefore grade this record as EXCELLENT. . I have played the record both sides, and (to my relief!) played syperbly, Much as New ! with a tiny bit of static in a couple of low spots . I enjoyed listening to this all the way through! very different t A great item - A must for any serious blues collector!!!!!!
Condition of the cover -
- Front: Ex-/EX condition. A bit of minor wear along the opening and spots of wear on the 4 corners, and a small blemish to the left of the Blue Horizon logo (see the picture) a bit of creasing about an inch from the opening running down about 6"barely visible.
- Back: , Much as new, can hardly see a blemish at all(EX/EX+)
- In line with my guide, I would therefore grade this as EXCELLENT overall.

The back cover also carries a foot note about Smith signs for blue horizon. This is a Fabulous item, don't get ambuhed by a sniper and be upset! The end of the auction is final, there is nothing i can do if you are out bid in the last 5seconds.
