'Harlem Youth Opportunities Unlimited', HARYOU ACT. The group was organized in 1965 for the youth of Harlem during a time of riots and problems with youths. The youths (young black boys & Puerto Ricans) deeply interested in music were to receive training, respect and the living conditions which are essential for creative lives. In this album, there is a great variety of music, most of it based on Afro-Cuban  Blues, and Jazz themes.  The group is 11 young men between the ages of 16-19
