Nice copy of the original 1942 3-78 rpm album of Hazel Scott’s Second Album of Piano Solos with Drums Acc. on Decca album 321. The legendary jazz / blues pianist and later social activist at her absolute best! Probably her greatest recordings; just a beautiful collection of tunes. All three discs are in quite nice shape and play very well. The first disc has a bit more wear than the other two, but still plays nicely with just a bit of noise. It too bad. The other two have some light scuffing and a few marks but play quite beautifully. The first disc is about V and the others V+. The cover has some wear and fraying on the edges and corners and has been used quite a lot, but the spine is still intact and readable and the whole thing holds together just fine. The binding is a little loose but it is still intact. A bit of wear but a wonderfully enjoyable copy, hard to find at all!
