Description

Up for auction is a rare 78 by Henry Thomas (Ragtime Texas) with the tracks "Red River Blues" and "The Fox and the Hounds" on Vocalion 1137.

The record is in VG+ condition and sounds absolutely great!  Light scuffs and scratches and only minimal surface noise!  The music is loud and clear! However, it does have a haircrack--but instead of starting at the rim, this one starts at the center and runs under the label and onto the dead groove; it extends into the actual grooves for only about half inch; the haircrack does not affect play! 

Overall, this is a beautiful and great-sounding copy of a hard-to-find record!
