Herbie Hancock – Inventions & Dimensions ?– BLP 4147 – Blue Note


Record Condition: (graded visually)
NM / VG+ / VG / GOOD

Sides A:  Has minimal surface scratching and scuffs. Scratches are superficial and do not break the surface, no deep gouges or “feelers”.
Sides B:  Has minimal surface scratching and scuffs. Scratches are superficial and do not break the surface, no deep gouges.  One more visible scratch can be seen across side B (it can only be felt slightly at the end of track B3. 

Label: Blue Note Label.  “Blue Note Records Inc. New York USA”.  No deep groove.
Dead Wax:
•   Side A:  (Etched) BNLP-4147A (stamped) “P” vangelder
•   Side B:  (Etched) BN-LP-4147B (stamped) “P” vangelder


Format:  Mono, 33 1/3 MICROGROOVE, Long Playing

 

Cover Condition: (graded visually)
NM / VG+ / VG / GOOD

Front:  Cover graphics are in very crisp and clear.  A few small blemishes are evident.  The full length of the top seam was split and has been repaired from the inside of the sleeve with a thin cardboard shim (pictured).  Original spine and bottom seam are intact, but show some edge wear.  Bottom seam has a 2.5 split that has been reinforced with a thin cardboard shim from the inside.  The corners are slightly dinged. 

Back: Back cover is in good condition.  Minimal discoloration from aging.  Some minor staining and shelf wear.  A previous owner, “Cliff”, wrote his name is the upper right corner with a faint marker. The liner notes are intact, clear and legible.  Very clean.
