actually Sunny Clapp's Victor recording band with Hoagy Carmichael
(who also co-wrote the first title) on hand as the vocalist. For years there's been
speculation that Bix Beiderbecke is on hand, playing on this red-hot record
(but no matter who it is, the solo work is of the highest caliber).
if we remember correctly, this group was akin / related to Band O’ Sunshine
and the recordings were made in 1931 in New York City.

Condition
a strong Very Good Condition Copy. with shiny clean shellac and labels. the record has
some light visual wear and a hint of graying to the grooves
but it's overall a really nice copy of a very rare 78
it's been FULLY PLAY TESTED and it plays and Sounds Great with no skips or repeats and plays with just extremely light typical surface
noise that shellac 78rpm records almost always have.
the labels are shiny and clean
with no writing, stickers or markings
but they have some light wear
and scuffing to them
a note about shipping - 78rpm records are as fragile
as an eggshell. they break incredibly easily. but that said, we
have extensive experience packing and shipping 78s
and know how to ship them to avoid breakage. this
means higher shipping charges, though, as
it requires extra packing materials.
