Holy Grail! R&B / Doo Wop Acetate! The Citations – Stranger / New Love – Virtue Acetate – Near Mint

The Citations recorded a total of four songs for the mighty Don El Record label in Philadelphia during the early 60s. Two songs were released as a 45: “Kiss In The Night” / “It Hurts Me” - while “Stranger” and “New Love” remained on a Virtue acetate for decades before being discovered in the murky basement of the Don El Records headquarters. Condition: Near Mint with very light storage scuffs that do not effect play. This acetate may be the only known copy that exists!
