Description
Scarce and in-demand northern soul 45 gem featuring THE IDEALS on the BOO-GA-LOO label from approximately the early seventies.
Titles are “THE MIGHTY LOVER” and “Dancing in USA.”
This is a stock copy, purple label with silver print. Styrene pressing, the catalog number is BL-108.
Condition of "Mighty Lover" is nice VG with approximately half of the original gloss remaining. There is considerable scuffing, and several minor hairlines that produce some minor surface noise especially at the beginning, however the overall listening experience is quite enjoyable, as you can hear in the sound clip below. (Note: Flip side "Dancing in the U.S.A." grades lower, at G to VG- due to surface noise). A tough one to find, and you should find this to be a decent copy to fill a hole in the collection or to play out.
Labels show some wear on both sides, but no writing, stickers, or rips.
