Description
INDIAN SUMMER - INDIAN SUMMER
RCA NEON LABEL 1971 ORIGINAL FIRST UK PRESSING WITH MATT GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN VERY GOOD PLAYING CONDITION.
STEREO NE3
Released in 1971 on the RCA NEON label, I am offering today this original and extremely collectable first UK pressing of this classic psych album by Midland psych band INDIAN SUMMER simply titled "INDIAN SUMMER".
The album was produced by Roger Bain and comes complete with matt gatefold sleeve which is free from unwanted writing or stickers.
I have just played this album through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays very well with absolutely no sticks or skips or nasty pops etc but there is some light crackle to be heard occasionally which may go with a good clean.
THIS LP IS NOT MINT OR EXCELLENT BUT FOR SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO PAY SEVERAL HUNDRED FOR A TOP COPY THIS IS CERTAINLY A RESPECTABLE EXAMPLE !!
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually retains its sheen but displays quite a few light scratches, Nothing that can be felt. I have just played it through for these listing purposes and am pleased to say that it plays through well with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc but there was some light surface noise to be heard occasionally which may disperse with a good clean.
The SLEEVE, The E J Day printed matt gatefold sleeve is respectable, There are no splits, stickers or unwanted writing etc, but the spine though still legible is somewhat faded and there is some light creasing to the top right corner which looks to be caused by damp.
The LABELS, The Custom RCA labels are exceptionally clean, showing absolutely no spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The inner sleeve is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
