The Beatles
"Introducing The Beatles" vinyl LP
This is an original copy of "Introducing The Beatles," released in the U.S. in 1964 on Vee Jay Records (VJLP 1062). This is a mono copy of "Version 2" of the album meaning that the songs "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" have been replaced with "Ask Me Why" and "Please, Please Me." The back cover is the "Column" type, with the songs listed in two columns. "Please, Please Me" is printed on the back cover with the comma in place. The record's label is the LP sized label with silver printing on black, with the oval Vee Jay logo at top. Comes complete with the original Vee Jay Records inner sleeve.SEE PICS BELOW!
CONDITION -
Jacket: COVER: EX: some scuffing on bottom of front, small sticker removal mark in top-left corner of back, and some very light scuffing on back. Overall it is very bright, clean and sturdy with all seams and edges fully intact. INNER SLEEVE: Very Good: small tear in top-center of one side, some creasing in corners, one edge has a 1" split in the middle and the other edge has split from the top about 5 inches down.
Vinyl: Very Good; very clean with some needle wear and some surface marks (the most visible being a light line running through the first four songs on side 1 and a large scuff mark in the last song on side 2) - marks are easily visible but cause almost no problems in playback - no popping or skipping and almost no surface crackle - spindle hole shows minimal wear, and playback is Excellent (better than any surface marks on the vinyl would suggest) - labels are very clean except for a sticker removal mark (still slightly sticky) on side 1.
