Introducing The Beatles VJ STEREO Version 2 SR 1062 - MR Stamped LP GENUINE

Guaranteed original Vee Jay pressing with rainhbow brackets labels in good condition. Introducing the Beatles is one of the most counterfeited vinyl LP's of all time. This is version 2 since VJ records was in legal battles to only release songs that had already been approved for US release, "In order to circumvent the restraining order, Vee-Jay quickly reconfigured Introducing... The Beatles. It removed "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" and replaced them with the previously deleted "Ask Me Why" and "Please Please Me", though some pressings of the album did not alter the track list. The new versions were prepared in late January and began appearing in stores approximately 10 February 1964.[1]"

This one is authentic and found from an album collector. Please note there is superficial wear to the cover including one tear to corner that does not go all the way through and is difficult to see when flat or displayed-LP including a wear line (not scratch) through the title and scratches with one deeper scratch on side 1 of the LP. You can check authenticity with the following all met by this item:

1) The jacket has 1/4 inch flaps at the top and bottom on the outside of the cover but superficial tear to left corner on front of cover only

2) images are clear on the front and back without blurring

3) The LP labels have "The Beatles" printed above the well used spindle hole

4) The LP dead wax area to both sides have etched 63-3403 S & MR in a circle

5) STEREO is on the album on both sides

Some of the more common characteristics found on ORIGINAL DISCS:

Labels have "THE BEATLES" and the title "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" above the center hole.
Only gloss or semi-gloss rainbow/colorband labels are used on originals.
All original labels have bright, sharp silver print.
The vinyl trail-off -the gap between the end of the last track and the edge of the label usually measures from 7/8" to 1" wide, but never greater.
The rainbow/colorband that circles the perimeter of an original label is of high resolution, with smooth, gradual changes in color.
The vinyl trail-off area on over 90% of all originals has one or more of the following mechanical Stampings: 1. The term "AudioMatrix." 2. The letters "MR" inside of a circle. 3. The letters "APP" in italics. Among originals, only those made in Santa Monica lack machine Stampings. Regardless, these still have the aforementioned bright silver print and glossy labels. To date, we have never seen a counterfeit copy with machine stamping in the trail-off area.
We have never found a counterfeit with the word "STEREO" printed on the label.
Any copy with "STEREO" printed on the label is more than likely an original.
All originals with black labels that do not have the rainbow colorband are printed on a flat-not glossy-paper stock.
Any item under scrutiny must measure up in all the above areas of originality testing. If either the cover, disc or label fails even one criterion of the test is likely not original

Jacket: Clean front and back with some superficial rub wear on the title and at the bottom, also normal wear to the bottom edges-no writing or glue marks. The colors are vibrant. The spine is clean and all 4 corners have normal wear no splitting. The record is flat without warp. There is no inner sleeve for the record. Shipping will be done carefully.
