I am selling more BEATLES and BEATLES-RELATED RECORDS from my own collection. Please check my other auctions, too.
In this auction:
· “INTRODUCING THE BEATLES” by The Beatles
· This is Vee Jay Records VJLP SR 1062.
· It is a RARE Vee Jay STEREO PRESSING of this LP.
· It was issued beginning in February, 1964.
· This is Version 2 of this LP with column back cover and includes the cuts “Ask Me Why” and “Please, Please Me” that replaced “Love Me Do” and “P.S. I Love You” which were on Version 1 of this LP.
· The LABELS are BLACK with PERIMETER COLOR BAND and VEE JAY BRACKETS LOGO.
· The LABELS have “Long Playing” and “Microgroove” on each side of the play hole and “STEREO” printed at the top of the label.
· BOTH COVER and VINYL ARE ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC!
1) The cover has George’s shadow and spine printing.
2) The labels have “THE BEATLES” above the spindle hole.
3) The vinyl disc has “Audio Matrix” partially and lightly stamped in the trail-off on both sides.
So you can bid with confidence that you are receiving the real deal and not a counterfeit Stereo VJ LP.
· The FRONT COVER has a “STEREOPHONIC” banner across the top.
· The COVER is in NICE VG to VG+ CONDITION. The front cover slick has very light wear as you can see in the images. The rear white slick is quite clean. There is light to moderate wear on 3 corners with “balding” on 2 corners. There are small corner pushes on 3 corners. There are NO SEAM SPLITS. There is some light cracking on the bottom seam, but NO paper loss. The rear cover slick has some light “foxing” (age-spotting). The rear cover slick has a tiny tear at the top left corner at the opening. of the rear cover slick at the opening.
· The VINYL is in VG to VG MINUS CONDITION. There are numerous light to moderate surface hairlines/scuffs. There are also about four heavier hairlines/scuffs that are “feelable”, so there will likely be some audible distraction when playing. The vinyl is still quite glossy!
· Both LABELS have some wear mostly around the spindle hole. The Side II label has a small scuff on the first track, “Please, Please Me”.
GENUINE STEREO VEE JAY PRESSINGS ARE TOUGH TO FIND. Maybe you need this STEREO VEE JAY LP for your vinyl collection?
