Description

IRON MAIDEN - The Soundhouse Tapes - 7" Single EP

ORIGINAL copy of Iron Maiden's 1979 debut release "The Soundhouse Tapes" on Rock Hard Records (ROK 1). One of only 5,000 ORIGINAL copies. This is the original line up with Paul Di'anno.

This 7" 45rpm single EP has the following  3-track listing:

Side one (ROK-1-A *EG*  SA) - "Iron Maiden"

Side two (ROK-1-B *EG*  SA) - "Invasion" / "Prowler"

I bought this new, when originally released in 1979, after a Neal Kay roadshow in Manchester.The back cover carries an endorsement by Neal Kay, describing the three songs taken from the demo tape recorded at Spaceward Studios on New Year's Eve 1978 and presented to him at The Soundhouse.

I have checked the condition of the vinyl and it is free of warps, chips and scrathes. I have played it before listing and it plays well throughout. it is in excellent condition.

It comes in its ORIGINAL top opening sleeeve with no tears, corner creases or writing. The top lip does show signs of minor creasing.
