Iron Maiden - The Soundhouse Tapes EP (Rok1).
Iron Maiden's legendary and ultra-rare first ever release. Bought by me as a teenage metal freak in 1979 and carefully stored since. This must be one of the best copies in existence anywhere. Sleeve is the original stiff card top-opening sleeve with the squared-off scoop opening and flipback edges. The sleeve is as near to mint as you could imagine - no bends, no creases, no splits, no writing, not even any ringwear.
The disc has all the correct run-off groove markings;
Side 1 - *EG* SA LYN 7627-IT (faintly etched) ROK-1-A
Side 2 - *EG* SA ROK-1-B LYN 7628-IT (faintly etched)
Labels are clean with no writing and one or two barely percievable spindle marks only.
The playing surface itself has two or three minor hairlines but is a strong Ex+ and close to Near Mint. I've just played it for the first time in 25 years and it still sounds great. Side 1 is nearly flawless. Side 2 has some minor background crackle throughout - I can't remember if this was always present - but it's really nothing to worry about.
Make no mistake - this might be your only chance to secure a genuine original of this legendary record in this condition. You'll certainly never want or need to upgrade if you have this copy in your collection. The scans are of the actual item for sale.
