JACQUES DUTRONC – S/T
Very Rare FIRST PRESSING from entirely awesome FREAKBEAT/ PSYCHADELIC ROCK classic. From 1966 this is the Extremely rare original Disques Vogue label 1st edition UK mono pressing 12-track vinyl LP housed in superb Garrod & Lofthouse single laminated flip-back cover.
This self-titled 1966 debut LP by the legendary Jacques Dutronc is in fantastic condition (see below). This fabulous LP is quite possibly the BEST French 1960's album ever released!! Lots of fuzzed out garage freak-beat tunes. Some incredible electric Dylan-esque moves. Hard edged beat-psych. Awesome tribal drums and percussion breaks. Excellent production that got it all right!!
This legendary and super rare original 1966 UK 1st edition MONO pressing (Made In England) is very rarely, if ever seen, and almost never offerd for sale!! You will occasionally come across original French copies of this great record but UK originals are truly like gold dust! In fact I have only ever seen one other original UK vinyl copy listed on eBay and that was over 6 years ago!! Here is a beyond rare opportunity to own, not only one of the rarest UK pressed 1960s vinyl albums, but also one of the greatest 1960s fuzzed out garage / freakbeat albums too....Truly awesome stuff....Don't miss out!!

Sleeve is in really amazing condition this is contrary to many of the 60s Garage rock sleeves which usually show many faults. Robust and true the sleeve retains its rigidity. I hope that It goes without saying that there are no rips or tears. There is some slight creasing of the laminate at the spine and some dirt on the edge of the rear flipbacks but that’s it. The unlaminated back-piece is clear from staining or discolouration. All in all then… Fantasitic!!!
RECORD: EX
The record is in fantastic condition retaining its deep obsidian lustre. A couple of very light paper scuffs (not scratches) can be seen under bright light. There is a single hairline to side 1. You will be hard pushed to find a copy of this record in better condition. Superb!
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
