Description

Welcome to another Auction from PLAN 9 and RECORD FINDERS!

Bidders outside the US, take note: We DO NOT devalue items for the sake of avoiding customs fees for your respective countries. This fee should be taken into consideration BEFORE you bid on our items!

Up for bid is an extremely rare LP, "The Jazz Messengers At The Cafe Bohemia Volume 2," featuring Horace Silver, Hank Mobley, Art Blakey, Kenny Dorham, and Doug Watkins. This is an original mono press, released by Blue Note (BLP 1508). The interior labels have a deep groove on either side with the "767 Lexington" address. Matrix info includes RVG stamped on both sides with an ear mark. LP has a flat edge. LP is VG, with scuffs and a couple of light scratches on either side. LP plays with some surface noise (crackle, tics, & pops) - but no skips. A professional clean should remove some of the surface noise. LP is retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG+, with a couple of seam splits along the bottom seam. The jacket has a raised seam that runs along the spine and along the top (I will post better pictures for this later today). There is a split in the center of the bottom seam about 2 inches long. There is a split in the bottom seam that starts at the lip and travels toward the spine about 1 1/2 inches. There is light ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is corner wear on all seams and corners. There is some scuffing on the front and back of the jacket. A small portion of the pasted on artwork on the back has peeled away (see photos). An original mono press of this LP is difficult to find in any condition! Don't miss your chance to pick up this extremely rare gem! If multiple items are won, we will combine items for a shipping discount. Any questions feel free to email. Item will be securely packaged and shipped via media mail within the US. Shipping outside the US is via USPS First Class Mail International. In regards to a return policy: In the event that this item is not as it is described, we do accept returns. This has been very rare for us to have to do so, whatever the circumstance. Buyer must pay shipping to return item back to us for a full refund. Item must be returned in the condition that it was in when we shipped it. Please understand, this is not intended for buyers to abuse this system, so SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY.

THE INVOICE FOR ALL WINNING BIDDERS OUTSIDE THE U.S. WILL REFLECT AN EXTRA $10 FOR CERTIFIED MAIL TO VERIFY DELIVERY FOR THIS ITEM.
