Description
"The Jazz Messengers at The Cafe Bohemia, Vol. 2." Blue Note 1508, Mono, 1956. Pressing is a deep groove (DG), flat edge (FE) original, with 'RVG' and the 'ear' etched clearly in the dead wax on both sides. The '767 Lexington Ave.'' address is printed on both labels and at the bottom of the back cover. Players: Art Blakey, Kenny Dorham, Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, Doug Watkins.
Tracks: Sportin' Crowd / Like Someone in Love / Yesterdays / Avila and Tequila / I Waited For You.
The record is in VG+/NM- condition; this record shows only general light wear, a few very light hairlines, with some spindle marks and a few small, light sleeve marks. It retains much of its original surface sheen, however, and plays very well.
The cover is in VG++ shape, with some light soiling on the front cover, some light discoloration at the edges and light ring wear/soiling on the back. The seams are solid, with the corners and edges showing only slight wear. Here's another classic in really hard-to-find shape!
