Description

JETHRO TULL - "Aqualung” LP

UK 1971 ORIGINAL STEREO VINYL ALBUM on ISLAND Records ILPS 9145 (2nd Issue - 1st Issue is on Chrysalis)

[Matrix A-1-U and B-3-U - "PINK RIM" ISLAND RECORDS LABEL DESIGN with the ILPS 9145 in Gothic Print rather than plain - 1st PRESSING of the 2nd issue].

TEXTURED GATEFOLD SLEEVE has the “ILPS 9145” credit on the top rear and the “Ernest J. Day “ Credit on the bottom rear.

Sleeve has no scuffs, ring-wear, tears, marks etc. Gorgeous NEAR MINT.

The INNER LYRIC BAG has the flap on one side slightly creased at the bottom - otherwise no tearing on the lip as there so often is with this. GRADED EX.

THE LP has a small amount of spindle wear and no marks, scratches, scuffs etc. A conservative grading is a very strong EX.

Collectors will know that Tull’s “Aqualung” is a common album but not so in great condition like this - a Quality Copy For A Collector.

The album (like all of mine) has been professionally washed and dried on the LORICRAFT AUDIO PR6 cleaning machine (pictured).

It's then placed in a new Poly-lined inner bag (with the original inner sleeve retained).?

These records don't just 'look' clean - they 'play' clean - and there's a huge difference.

All my LPs are sent in proper 12" mailers with two stiffeners (no dodgy jiffy bags) and the outer sleeve is in a HEAVY GAUGE PVC.
