On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Jethro Tull called 'Thick As A Brick' and is a 1972 UK GENIUNE 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'White i' Chrysalis label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS A 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING!!!!  THESE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ARE VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!  FOR YEARS NOW I HAVE SEEN SO CALLED 'FIRST PRESSINGS' LISTED AS ORIGINAL - WHEN SO CLEARLY THEY ARE NOT!!!!  THIS LP WAS RE-PRESSED WELL INTO THE MID 1970S AND 'RE-ISSUES' ARE RELATIVELY COMMON.  HOWEVER THERE IS ONE ESSENTIAL DIFFERENCE ON THIS LP THAT ONLY EVER EXISTED ON 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY!!!!  IF YOU LOOK AT THE RECORD LABELS YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE AT THE TOP OF EACH LABEL A WHITE 'i' ISLAND LOGO AND ALSO "MANUFACTURED AND DISTRIBUTED BY ISLAND RECORDS LTD. BASING ST. LONDON"!!!!  THIS TEXT & WHITE 'i' ISLAND LOGO ONLY EVER EXISTED ON FIRST PRESSINGS ONLY - SO BASICALLY ANY COPY WITHOUT THIS ALL IMPORTANT TEXT IS BASICALLY A MUCH LATER RE-ISSUE (AND COMMONLY FOUND).  AND THAT IS OF COURSE WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!  WHILST 'RE-ISSUES' WITHOUT THIS ALL IMPORTANT LABEL TEXT ARE RELATIVELY COMMON - GENIUNE 1ST PRESSINGS WITH THIS ALL IMPORTANT 'WHITE i' LABEL TEXT ARE VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - AND THIS LP IS ONE OF THE RAREST JETHRO TULL LPS EVER TO FIND AS 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1972 UK GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'WHITE i' CHRYSALIS LABELS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' FOLD-OUT NEWSPAPER COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Chysalis UK 1st Pressing from 1972 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The records is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is CHR 1003 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'White i' Chysalis labels (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition with NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle!!!!  There is NO groovewear and NO distortion!!!!  The record must grade FULL Excellent!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Fold-Out Newpaper Cover is in BRILLIANT condition and VERY hard to find like this!!!! PLEASE ALSO NOTE - that this is a GENIUNE 1st Press Cover with a 'Textured' soft card outer and thin authentic 'newpaper' pages!!!!  Naturally this is one of the most fragile and easily damaged covers ever made - so it is INCREDIBLY hard to find it in this condition!!!! The cover has NO splits, NO rips, NO tears, NO staining, ALL the pages are FULLY intact and PERFECTLY stapled in, only LIGHT edge wear (absolutely MILES better than most), barely ANY spinal wear (side words ALL readable), NO rubbing, barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL, only very VERY minimal 'ageing', only VERY slight yellowing (though the outer cover is still VERY white looking), only slight corner wear (NO splits), barely ANY creases (cover is VERY flat looking), NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are still VERY nice and straight!!!!  Overall a VERY nice cover indeed and EXTREMELY hard to find in this condition!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE MASSIVE RARITY OF FINDING A 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WITH 'WHITE i' TEXT ON THE LABELS!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
