Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1967 MONO STEAMBOAT LABEL U.S. PRESSING WITH SHRINKWRAP of the debut Reprise Records LP titled 'Are You Experienced' from The Jimi Hendrix Experience. It is Reprise Records catalog number R-6261, with the green, pink, and yellow tri-color 'steamboat' labels as shown in the accompanying image. Tracks: Purple Haze, Manic Depression, Hey Joe, Love Or Confusion, May This Be Love, I Don't Live Today, The Wind Cries Mary, Fire, Third Stone From The Sun, Foxey Lady, Are You Experienced?. Condition of record is a low VG+ with a fair amount of light surface marks and light surface scuffs, none of which can be felt and none of which affect play - Record plays through very nicely with a minimal amount of scattered and light surface noise, nothing at all distracting. Condition of cover is generally much better than is usually seen with mono copies of this album - Condition of cover is a high VG+ with the original shrinkwrap torn away and missing in two spots over the front cover as can be seen in the accompanying image and is also missing over about 30% of the back cover but is still otherwise intact and surrounding the cover, and with the only real flaws being one very small stain on the front cover, a little bit of contact wear in areas not covered by the shrinkwrap, and a little wear along the edges and on the corners in areas not covered by shrinkwrap. Cover has no splits, tears, writing, or stickers. The original Reprise Records vintage stock inner sleeve with photos of other then-current Reprise Records releases is also included and is in nice shape with no splits or tears and just a few very slight wrinkles. A choice and rare MONO addition to any Jimi Hendrix or classic rock record collection! Media mail shipping within the U.S is $3.00, insurance is optional. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - Uninsured first class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe is $13.50 - Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
