NOW ON TO A LONG RUN OF ROCK LPs OF VARIOUS STYLES - This is an ORIGINAL 1967 REPRISE RECORDS U.S. MONO DEBUT LP from guitar legend Jimi Hendrix and his group The Jimi Hendrix Experience. It is Reprise Records U.S. catalog number R 6261, tri-color steamboat labels. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE RECENT 180 GRAM MONO REISSUE OR ANY OTHER RECENT REISSUE, THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1967 THICK RIGID VINYL PRESSING.

Condition of cover is VG-/VG with a 5" split with the top layer of paper worn away in the left side of the top edge, a 6" split in the middle of the spine which also has the top layer of paper completely worn away for its entire length, a small piece of clear tape on the front cover near the upper right corner, some very light mildew stains, some ring and contact wear, and a fair amount of general wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no water damage, tears, writing, or stickers. This LP is a rare find as a 1967 mono original - It has some condition issues that I have factored into the price but it would be a rare addition to any Jimi Hendrix or late 1960s rock record collection!
