JIMI HENDRIX-AXIS BOLD AS LOVE

TRACK-612003-1967

Stunning second album from Jimi Hendrix, on the original Track UK label. From its bizzare spoken word intro, right to the last track, this is a psychadelic monster, and helps prove why Mr Hendrix is still rated as one of the best guitarists ever. Has solid support from Neol Redding and Mitch Mitchell.

This is a UK Mono first pressing on Track. Comes in its original Ernest J Day & Co gate-fold sleeve. Has 612003 A1/B1 matrix numbers. A rare, landmark LP.

Condition: Cover is Good+, obvious signs of wear, but intact and quite clean. Spine has a little wear, but still intact. Inside gatefold is a little dirty, but fully readable. Vinyl is Good+, quite a few light marks, but plays well, more like VG minus, with a small amount of crackle in places, but nothing that really detracts from the sound, due to the heavy sound Jimi produces. I have played this through on an "Acoustics" turntable, with a standard stylus.
